Responsibility
- Develop, test, and optimize CNC milling programs using CAD/CAM software for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining centers.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and 3D models to create accurate toolpaths.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot programming issues and improve machining efficiency.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to maximize productivity and tool life.
- Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with tight tolerances (±0.005mm).
- Maintain and update CNC program libraries, tooling databases, and machining parameters for repeatability.
- Train and mentor junior programmers and machinists on best practices in CNC programming and operation.
- Stay current with advancements in CNC technology, tooling, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer with a focus on milling operations (3-axis minimum, 5-axis preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or GibbsCAM).
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and post-processor configurations for Haas, Mazak, or DMG Mori machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 3D CAD models (STEP, IGES, or SolidWorks files).
- Experience with high-precision machining for aerospace, medical, or automotive industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMM inspection, tool presetting, and process validation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
