Responsibility
- Operate and monitor CNC lathe machines to produce high-precision components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate production.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathe machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production times, and quality control data.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve product quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist or similar role in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, G-code, and M-code.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
- Certification or vocational training in machining or a related field is a plus.
