Responsibility
- Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up CNC equipment, including tooling, workholding, and program parameters, to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and CAD/CAM files to guide the manufacturing process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Document production data, including machine settings, cycle times, and quality control results, for traceability and analysis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam).
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform quality checks to ensure product accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve machining issues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy materials (up to 20-25 kg) as needed.
- Certification in CNC machining or a related technical field is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
