Responsibility
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- Mix, knead, shape, and proof dough to ensure consistent quality and texture.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and compliant workspace.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Ensure all products meet quality control standards before display or delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bread Baker or in a similar role, preferably in a professional bakery.
- Hands-on experience with sourdough starter maintenance and croissant lamination is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and fermentation processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for the craft of baking.
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients (up to 25 kg).
- Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment with new flavors and techniques.
