Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu options to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to learn and grow in the specialty coffee industry.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
