Responsibility
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile events, VIP visits, and diplomatic functions, ensuring adherence to protocol standards and organizational policies.
- Liaise with government agencies, embassies, and corporate partners to facilitate smooth logistics, security, and hospitality arrangements for visiting dignitaries.
- Develop and implement standardized protocol guidelines, including seating arrangements, gift exchanges, and ceremonial procedures.
- Manage guest relations with discretion and professionalism, anticipating needs and resolving issues to ensure an exceptional experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and security teams to align event objectives with organizational goals and safety requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive briefings, itineraries, and reports for internal stakeholders and visiting delegations.
- Stay updated on international diplomatic etiquette, cultural sensitivities, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Train and mentor staff on protocol procedures, customer service excellence, and crisis management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in protocol management, VIP services, or high-end event coordination, preferably in luxury hospitality, government, or multinational organizations.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder events with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Strong understanding of diplomatic protocols, cultural norms, and international etiquette.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain composure in high-stakes situations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
