Responsibility
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
- Measure and mix ingredients with precision to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Decorate and present finished products attractively to enhance visual appeal for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, and assist in ordering as needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and sanitary workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently and meet daily production goals.
- Innovate and suggest new recipes or improvements to existing products to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of baked goods.
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately, with a keen eye for detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients or equipment (up to 25 kg).
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new and delicious baked products.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Certification in food handling or culinary arts is a plus.
