Responsibility
- Prepare and measure ingredients accurately for baking recipes.
- Mix, knead, shape, and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to established standards.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality.
- Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, toppings, and other garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredient stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards before being served or packaged.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role, preferably in a professional bakery or dessert production setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and adapt to new ones quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy ingredients or equipment.
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines.
