Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the bakery team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality output.
- Develop and implement new bakery recipes, menus, and seasonal specialties to attract customers.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for ingredients, and manage supplier relationships.
- Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate bakery staff to maintain consistent product quality and service excellence.
- Optimize production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste and costs.
- Collaborate with the retail management team to align bakery offerings with promotional strategies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to enhance satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a retail or commercial bakery, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (Chief Baker, Head Baker, or similar).
- Proven expertise in artisan bread, pastry, and dessert production with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and bakery hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with inventory management, cost control, and supplier negotiations.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovating new bakery products.
- Fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
