Responsibility
- Prepare and measure ingredients accurately for all bakery products, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Mix, knead, shape, and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to standardized recipes.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve perfect texture, color, and flavor.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredient stock and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill daily production targets and special orders.
- Decorate and finish baked goods with artistic presentation for display and customer appeal.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofing cabinets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bakery or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and food safety practices.
- Ability to read and follow recipes with precision and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients (up to 25 kg).
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new bakery products or improving existing ones.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
