Responsibility
- Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and management.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to local building codes, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Manage on-site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges on-site, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide construction teams.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance on-site.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Relevant certification or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
