Responsibility
- Oversee daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management and stakeholders.
- Manage material and equipment deliveries to avoid delays.
- Resolve on-site conflicts and challenges with effective problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including attendance and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid certification in occupational health and safety (OSHA or equivalent) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required by project demands.
