Responsibility
- Supervise day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site personnel to ensure optimal productivity and site safety.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSH regulations.
- Monitor material usage and equipment maintenance to minimize wastage and operational downtime.
- Solve technical problems and address logistical challenges on-the-go to keep the project moving forward.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily site progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Facilitate communication between the construction team, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in site supervision or a similar construction role.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to site management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and site specifications.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian construction safety standards and regulations.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic site environment and handle tight deadlines.
