Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive structural audits of telecommunication towers, foundations, and ancillary infrastructure to assess compliance with engineering standards and local regulations.
- Develop and review technical reports detailing audit findings, risk assessments, and recommended corrective actions for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to validate design specifications and ensure alignment with safety and performance requirements.
- Perform on-site inspections using advanced tools (e.g., drones, laser scanners) to evaluate structural integrity, corrosion, and load-bearing capacity.
- Monitor and document environmental and geological factors (e.g., soil stability, seismic activity) that may impact infrastructure stability.
- Liaise with government agencies and certification bodies to secure necessary approvals and ensure adherence to national and international codes (e.g., SNI, ASCE).
- Provide training and guidance to field teams on best practices for maintenance, repairs, and structural monitoring.
- Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD software to model and analyze structural components for optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., P.E., C.Eng.) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on telecommunication towers, high-rise structures, or industrial infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000) and familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations (e.g., SNI 1727:2013 for towers) and international standards (e.g., TIA-222, Eurocode).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple site audits simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel frequently to remote sites across Bali and other regions as required.
- OSHA or safety certification is highly desirable for high-risk site assessments.
