Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, wiring, and control panels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot M&E system failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Install, test, and commission new mechanical and electrical equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Respond to emergency calls and resolve critical issues to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff or apprentices when needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an M&E Technician or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, pumps, motors) and electrical systems (e.g., wiring, switchgear, control panels).
- Strong knowledge of Bali’s building codes and safety regulations for M&E installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying weather conditions.
- Basic English communication skills; Indonesian (Bahasa) fluency is a plus.
