Responsibility
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Enforce compliance with local and international safety regulations, including OSHA and Indonesian construction safety standards.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and emergency response procedures.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate and document near-misses, incidents, and accidents, recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
- Prepare and submit safety reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and incidents.
Qualifications
- Yellow Book (黄本) certification as a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety supervision or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and hazard prevention techniques.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to train and motivate teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and identify potential safety risks.
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in English and/or Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
- Physical ability to conduct field inspections in varying weather conditions.
