Join Mega Sedaya Construction as a Site Safety Supervisor in Bali and play a pivotal role in ensuring workplace safety, compliance with Yellow Book standards, and efficient site supervision across high-impact construction projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about maintaining the highest safety protocols while overseeing day-to-day operations in dynamic environments like Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, or Kuta.
As a key member of our team, you will lead safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and enforce regulatory compliance to protect our workforce and project integrity. Your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing hazards, optimizing productivity, and fostering a culture of safety excellence in one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant construction hubs.
Responsibility
- Monitor and supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to Yellow Book and local safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure all workers comply with safety protocols.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, emergency response procedures, and incident reporting systems.
- Train and educate construction teams on safety best practices, tool handling, and equipment operation.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, or violations, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety measures into project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions for compliance and auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar role in construction, preferably with Yellow Book certification.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian construction safety regulations, OSHA standards, and international best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to train, motivate, and enforce safety policies across diverse teams.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR and familiarity with ISO 45001 or similar safety management systems is a plus.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, writing safety reports, and using digital tools for documentation.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including remote or multi-site projects in Bali.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
