Responsibility
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Enforce compliance with local and international safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and emergency response procedures.
- Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for all on-site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to integrate safety measures into project planning.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively train and motivate teams.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in preparing safety reports and documentation.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bali for the duration of the 9-month contract.
