Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies in alignment with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations to identify and mitigate potential safety threats.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work procedures across all project sites.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and emergency response plans.
- Prepare and submit safety reports, audits, and compliance documentation to management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on OSHA, Indonesian labor laws, and industry-specific safety standards to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction, infrastructure, or industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations (e.g., K3) and international standards (ISO 45001).
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to drive safety culture adoption.
- Proficiency in conducting safety audits, writing reports, and using HSE software/tools.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-risk environments with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- First Aid/CPR certification and experience in emergency response planning.
