Responsibility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at solar installation sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, including OSHA and industry-specific standards.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, emergency response procedures, and risk assessments.
- Provide safety training and inductions for new and existing employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all safety equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety supervision role, preferably in construction or renewable energy projects.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali.
