Responsibility
- Perform rigging operations for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads using cranes, hoists, and other equipment.
- Inspect and maintain rigging gear, including slings, chains, hooks, and cables, to ensure safety and compliance.
- Follow industry standards and company protocols for load calculations, weight distribution, and securing techniques.
- Collaborate with crane operators, supervisors, and project teams to execute lifting plans safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-lift inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of structures, machinery, and equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, inspections, and incident reports.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Rigger in construction, oil & gas, or related industries.
- Certification in rigging and lifting operations (e.g., OSHA, API, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, load calculations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, load charts, and project specifications.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, or challenging environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as project demands require.
- Familiarity with Bali’s industrial safety regulations is a plus.
