As our Senior Estimator, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate RAB (Rencana Anggaran Biaya), BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and QTO (Quantity Take-Off) documents, ensuring projects stay on budget and meet quality standards. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for interior design and construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Prepare and review RAB (Rencana Anggaran Biaya), BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and QTO (Quantity Take-Off) documents to ensure alignment with project scope and budget.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and negotiate pricing to secure cost-effective materials and services without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to refine project plans and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior estimators and project teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. A masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in interior design or construction projects.
- Proficient in estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for complex calculations.
- Strong knowledge of RAB, BOQ, and QTO preparation, as well as local construction regulations and standards in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities in project budgets.
