Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs and protocols tailored to construction site needs.
- Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for all on-site personnel, including contractors and subcontractors.
- Investigate and document all incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Ensure all safety equipment (PPE, fire extinguishers, etc.) is available, functional, and used correctly by all workers.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports for audits and compliance purposes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and coordinate with external safety auditors or regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field. NEBOSH or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations (e.g., K3) and international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively train and influence diverse teams.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for high-risk construction activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software. Experience with incident reporting tools is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites within Badung and surrounding areas as needed.
