Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide financial advice to stakeholders.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure cost control throughout all phases.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for management.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to align on design specifications and material selections.
- Resolve contractual disputes and claims while maintaining professional relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with 2+ years in a senior role (for SQS).
- Proven track record in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or PlanSwift) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a multicultural team.
