Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to guide construction activities accurately.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local building codes to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve technical challenges and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage material deliveries, inventory, and equipment to ensure availability and minimize downtime.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, including work completed, challenges encountered, and resource requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools, with experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Physical stamina and willingness to work in outdoor environments, including exposure to heat, humidity, and construction hazards.
