Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project risks to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to optimize resource allocation.
- Perform regular site visits to assess progress and verify cost projections.
- Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and valuation reports.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and value engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction or interior design industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, CostX) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is advantageous.
