Responsibility
- Conduct on-site surveys and measurements to verify land dimensions, elevations, and boundaries for construction projects.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans to ensure accuracy in field execution.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align survey data with design specifications.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, including sketches, calculations, and digital documentation for project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress by conducting regular site visits and comparing field conditions with approved plans.
- Identify potential discrepancies or obstacles in the field and propose practical solutions to mitigate risks.
- Operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and laser levels with precision.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during all survey activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Field Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in using surveying tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Total Station, GPS).
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions across Bali.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address field discrepancies.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with project teams and clients.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and safety protocols in Indonesia.
