Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to verify measurements, materials, and labor requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to financial plans and timelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value-engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve disputes and mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of project finances, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and tendering procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations is a plus.
