Responsibility
- Perform laboratory testing on construction materials (e.g., concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregates) using standardized methods and equipment.
- Prepare and analyze test samples, documenting results with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, SNI) for materials testing.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Generate comprehensive test reports and communicate findings to project managers and engineers.
- Assist in field inspections and sampling to verify material quality on-site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot material-related issues and propose solutions.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction materials testing laboratory or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (e.g., compression machines, sieves, moisture analyzers).
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, or SNI standards for construction materials.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, or Kuta as needed.
