Responsibility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Implement and enforce HSSE policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
- Respond to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and other safety-related issues.
- Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Maintain and inspect fire safety equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management to develop and improve safety programs.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in fire safety or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in fire safety, emergency response, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks requiring manual labor.
- Willingness to work in shifts and be on-call as needed.
