In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing the end-to-end tendering process for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects, ensuring competitive bids, accurate cost estimations, and seamless coordination with stakeholders. Responsibility
- Lead and manage the tendering process for M&E projects, from bid preparation to submission.
- Develop cost estimates, budgets, and financial proposals to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to align technical and commercial requirements.
- Conduct market research and supplier negotiations to optimize procurement strategies.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and compliance submissions in accordance with industry standards.
- Analyze risk factors and mitigation strategies to enhance bid success rates.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
- Ensure all tender activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tender management within the construction or M&E industry.
- Proven track record in preparing and winning tenders for large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, cost estimation, and contract law.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in tendering software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with local and international tendering regulations is a plus.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
