Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections at all stages of construction, from foundation to final handover, ensuring adherence to project specifications, blueprints, and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC plans, checklists, and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., SNI, ISO 9001).
- Perform material testing and verification, including concrete, steel, and finishing materials, to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Document and report non-conformities, deviations, and defects, proposing corrective actions and tracking their resolution.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to review work methodologies and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Conduct pre-construction, in-process, and final inspections, including snagging lists, to ensure all deliverables meet client expectations.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates, for audits and client submissions.
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality standards, best practices, and the proper use of tools and materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CQI, IRCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry, preferably in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction standards (e.g., SNI, ASTM, ACI) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficient in using QA/QC tools such as calipers, moisture meters, and concrete testers, as well as software like AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify defects and propose practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English, with the ability to create clear, detailed inspection reports.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction regulations and local building codes is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
