Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive site safety policies in alignment with OSHA, local regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety training sessions, and emergency response drills for all on-site personnel.
- Investigate and document near-misses, incidents, and accidents, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures are implemented.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety best practices into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with PPE usage, equipment safety, and safe work procedures across all construction phases.
- Prepare and submit safety reports, compliance documentation, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Serve as the primary liaison with government safety inspectors, clients, and third-party auditors during site visits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certified OSHA 30, NEBOSH, or equivalent international safety certification (mandatory).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian construction safety regulations (e.g., K3) and ISO 45001 standards.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and influence teams on safety protocols and behavioral safety.
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills in a multicultural work environment.
- Proficiency in safety management software, incident reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work on-site in Badung, Bali, with flexibility for occasional travel to other project locations.
