As a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining excellence across our construction projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement rigorous quality standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and client specifications. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, SNI).
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities, materials, and workmanship for compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Perform material testing (e.g., concrete, steel, soil) and verify lab results to ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports, including non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and mitigate risks.
- Ensure all construction activities align with safety, environmental, and legal standards.
- Train and mentor site personnel on quality control best practices and proper documentation.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to review quality plans and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC for construction projects, preferably in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or residential developments.
- In-depth knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., SNI, ASTM, ACI).
- Proficient in QA/QC software tools (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to write clear technical reports.
- Experience conducting material testing and inspections using industry-standard equipment.
- Familiarity with Lean Construction and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on-site in Badung, Bali, with occasional travel to other project locations.
