This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of RM 2,500 – RM 3,500 per month, along with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and international standards.
- Provide comprehensive safety training and inductions for new and existing employees.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain records of safety-related activities, including inspections, training, and incidents.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment on site.
- Stay updated with the latest health and safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in health and safety roles, preferably in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective control measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in preparing reports, maintaining records, and using safety management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
