Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for electrical and plumbing (M&E) projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment to support tender submissions and procurement processes.
- Review and analyze tender documents, contracts, and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to monitor project progress, track variations, and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Perform regular site inspections to verify work quality, compliance with specifications, and accuracy of progress claims.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and final accounts for stakeholders.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Ensure all project documentation, including invoices, change orders, and progress reports, is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on electrical and plumbing (M&E) infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for M&E projects.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
