As a Senior Safety Officer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, monitoring, and enhancing safety protocols to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies in accordance with Indonesian regulations and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and accidents, proposing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety best practices into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and maintain emergency response plans, including first aid, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
- Prepare and submit safety reports, audits, and compliance documentation to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on local and global safety trends, recommending improvements to existing safety systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations (e.g., K3) and international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Proven ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to train and influence teams at all levels.
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Badung and surrounding areas as needed.
