MTD Group is seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Safety Health Officer (SHO) or Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to join our prestigious high-rise construction project in Kajang, Selangor. Responsibility
- Monitor and enforce strict compliance with DOSH regulations, OSHA 1994, and FMA 1967 standards on site.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRARC) for high-rise work activities.
- Provide comprehensive safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training for all site personnel and subcontractors.
- Manage the maintenance and inspection of safety equipment, including scaffolding, fall protection, and PPE.
- Lead investigations into any workplace incidents, near-misses, or accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to integrate safety protocols into the daily construction workflow.
- Maintain accurate site safety records, audit reports, and documentation for regulatory submission.
Qualifications
- Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification or Site Safety Health Officer (SHO) registration with DOSH.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in construction site safety, specifically within high-rise building projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian construction safety laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to manage safety audits and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Kajang area with flexible hours as required by the construction schedule.
- Valid CIDB Green Card holder.
