As the Site Head Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing on-site teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing best practices to deliver projects on time and within budget. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Based in Badung—a hub of development and tourism—this role offers the chance to work on diverse projects in areas like Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, or Kuta, contributing to the region’s growth and infrastructure advancement.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor on-site engineering teams, including civil, structural, and MEP engineers, to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government authorities to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety protocols, conducting regular audits to mitigate risks.
- Monitor project progress, preparing detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Optimize resource allocation, including materials, labor, and equipment, to maximize efficiency.
- Resolve technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and local communities to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction site management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or building projects from inception to handover.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations (OSHA, local standards), and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Project) and BIM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction laws and permitting processes is highly advantageous.
- PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
