Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems, including robotics, PLCs, and IoT-enabled solutions to optimize production workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, R&D, supply chain) to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, data-driven improvements.
- Oversee the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics, to enhance real-time monitoring and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for manufacturing systems, ensuring compliance with Nike’s global standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce downtime, waste, and costs while improving product quality and throughput.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and vendors for manufacturing equipment, ensuring alignment with Nike’s sustainability and efficiency goals.
- Troubleshoot complex system failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, with a focus on automation, robotics, or industrial control systems.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Python, SQL, Power BI) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) software.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI/ML, and digital twin simulations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
