Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on site progress, quality checks, and non-conformance issues.
- Perform material testing and verification to ensure all construction materials meet required standards.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and regulatory bodies for compliance audits and certifications.
- Provide technical guidance and training to site staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Familiarity with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in QA/QC, HSE, or related fields (e.g., ISO 9001, OSHA) are a plus.
