Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide safety training, workshops, and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Ensure emergency preparedness by coordinating drills and maintaining first aid and emergency response plans.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in occupational health and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Safety Health Officer or similar role, preferably in engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, develop safety protocols, and train employees effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
