Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor occupational safety and health (OSH) policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, ensuring awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with management and operational teams to integrate safety best practices into daily workflows.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports for regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on evolving OSH regulations and industry trends to ensure the company remains compliant and proactive.
- Promote a culture of safety by engaging employees at all levels through awareness campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO) or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian OSH regulations (e.g., Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international safety standards.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and training skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
