Responsibility
- Lead and manage NPI projects from concept to mass production, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement robust production processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components, ensuring compliance with specifications and cost targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the NPI process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing, or product development roles.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the manufacturing sector.
