Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of logistics engineers to design, analyze, and optimize supply chain and distribution networks across APAC.
- Develop and implement data-driven logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce transit times, and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and IT, to integrate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, automation) into logistics workflows.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turnover, transportation costs) and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Oversee the planning and execution of warehouse layouts, material handling systems, and last-mile delivery solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, safety standards, and UPS operational policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma projects, to eliminate inefficiencies in logistics processes.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics engineering, supply chain optimization, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven expertise in logistics network design, transportation modeling, and warehouse management systems (WMS/TMS).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau) and simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, FlexSim).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making at all levels.
- Familiarity with APAC logistics markets, including customs regulations, infrastructure challenges, and regional best practices.
- Certifications in Six Sigma, PMP, or CSCP are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other APAC languages is a plus.
