Responsibility
- Oversee daily construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with local contractors, suppliers, and Chinese stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain high construction standards.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, documentation, and technical drawings as required.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and provide solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Facilitate communication between Mandarin-speaking teams and local workforce to ensure clarity and efficiency.
- Monitor budget and resource allocation to optimize project costs and prevent overruns.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory for effective communication with Chinese stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to project sites in Bali as required.
