Responsibility
- Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality standards, materials, and workmanship meet contractual requirements.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, including updates on timelines, costs, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to local building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials, equipment, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, including laborers, foremen, and junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local Indonesian standards).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
