Note: This is a contract role with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
Responsibility
- Design, model, and coordinate Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for HVAC, water supply, drainage, and fire suppression systems.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into building designs.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify compliance with design specifications and local regulations.
- Optimize system performance for energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation for stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot design conflicts and propose innovative solutions to enhance system functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices in MEP and fire protection engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in MEP design, Revit modeling, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MEP design software.
- Strong knowledge of local and international MEP codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, SNI).
- Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and 3D modeling.
- Familiarity with electrical systems (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English; Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
