Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and resolution of technical issues.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents for accuracy and feasibility.
- Manage material procurement, inventory, and logistics to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Resolve on-site technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to ensure project continuity.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, accredited by a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in site engineering, construction management, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in project planning, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering software for design and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable construction practices is a plus.
