Responsibility
- Supervise day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure progress aligns with the master project schedule.
- Liaise effectively with sub-contractors and site personnel to ensure seamless workflows and material coordination.
- Proactively manage and document any changes in project scope, ensuring minimal impact on budget and timelines.
- Identify potential technical risks and resolve construction-related issues on-site to maintain structural integrity and project quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure strict compliance with Work-At-Height (WAH) safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare comprehensive daily progress reports and documentation for project management review.
- Collaborate with consultants and architects to clarify design specifications and resolve technical discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field recognized by the PE Board Singapore.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in site supervision, specifically within the Singapore building construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations, codes of practice, and safety standards (e.g., WSH Act).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, or project management tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary sub-contractor teams.
- Proven track record in managing project documentation and site resource allocation.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and effectively manage tight construction deadlines.
